The choice of which IXP(s) to peer at can be assisted by taking into account the three following aspects:

Where are your peering partners already present?

By searching in the Euro-IX database one can find the peering partners that are already present at Euro-IX member IXPs.

Further information on peering partners can be gained by cross referencing the number of unique/non-unique ASNs connected at each Euro-IX member IXP via the IXP Peering Matrix

What services do you require from an IXP?

The Euro-IX IXP matrix lists services that member IXPs are currently offering.

Geographical position

Look for an Euro-IX affiliated IXP by its geographical location on our Location of IXPs page.
